Peacock simply launched a trailer for its “Barney & Pals” documentary collection, “I Love You, You Hate Me” — and it’s brutal.
“Barney & Pals,” a kids’s tv phenomenon that aired for 14 seasons, from 1992 to 2010, drew the eye of numerous kids who turned to the lovable purple dinosaur for such life classes as forgiveness and sharing.
However now the darker facet of the amiable Tyrannosaurus rex’s picture, together with demise threats surrounding the present and the way the character grew to become a catalyst for hate, is being uncovered.
“Why does the world like to hate?” the trailer asks earlier than firing off examples of the visceral backlash towards the costumed character through the years.
