Aug 2nd, - We report an unusual clinical case of a year-old patient with cardiac involvement from a metastatic melanoma, causing the formation of a large right atrial mass with extensive infiltration of the right atrial free wall, the interatrial septum, the coronary sinus, and up to the mitral annulus and posterior wall of the right ventricle, unamendable to complete surgical excision. As secondary ca Aug 2nd, - Helicobacter pylori H.
A new study led by Kathryn J. Ruddy, M. Ruddy's mammography screening study found that African-American women in particular were less likely to receive the recommended amount of screening.
Systemic metastasis to a primary tumor of the central nervous system is uncommon. Breast carcinomas metastasizing to a possibly preexisting meningioma in the spine are reported very rarely. A year-old female was referred to us with progressive gait disturbance.
However, the appearance of breast cancer metastasis in a meningioma is extremely rare. Distinguishing between overt breast cancer intracranial metastasis and metastasis in a meningioma is important as the prognosis for these two entities could be very diverse. The term collision indicates the presence of two histologically distinct tumors occurring concurrently in the same anatomic location with some intermingling.
Despite improvements in overall survival for most cancers, survival for patients with pancreatic adenocarcinoma has remained dismally low for decades. Overall, less than 8 percent of patients survive more than five years after diagnosis. This year, pancreatic cancer surpassed breast cancer to become the third-leading cause of cancer deaths in the United States.
Cancer clinical trials are research studies for developing better ways of detecting, treating, and eventually preventing cancer. By taking part in a clinical trial, you are among the first to receive new research treatments before they are widely available. Your participation in a clinical trial will influence the future direction of cancer care.

Intracranial metastasis from breast cancer is a relatively common finding, however, the appearance of breast cancer metastasis in a meningioma is very rare. Several cases of tumor-to-tumor metastasis and collision tumors have been reported previously, with meningioma being implicated as the most common benign intracranial neoplasm to harbour the metastasis. Occasionally, the discovery of a tumor-to-meningioma metastasis may herald the diagnosis of an occult primary malignancy.
We report a case of meningioma subsequently developed in a patient with primary breast carcinoma. A year-old woman received a left modified radical mastectomy because of stage IIA breast carcinoma. Histologically, the tumor was a predominantly intraductal carcinoma with negative lymph node metastasis.
